Standard Operating Procedures & Jointing Protocol

STEP 1

Square Cut & Deburr

Cut pipe perpendicular to the axis with a dedicated rotary pipe cutter; clean burrs completely.

STEP 2

Mark Insertion Depth

Mark fusion depth using a depth gauge to avoid over-insertion and internal flow restriction.

STEP 3

Uniform Heat & Push

Heat simultaneously on 260°C die without rotation; join axially within the specified insertion window.

STEP 4

Cooling & Pressure Test

Allow natural cooling without stress; conduct hydrostatic pressure acceptance test at 1.5× design pressure.

1. Hydrostatic Pressure Burst Test

Subjected to 1.5× nominal design stress at 95°C water bath for 1,000 hours with zero burst or leakage.

2. Charpy Impact Resistance at 0°C

2-hour freezing bath immersion followed by 2-meter heavy falling striker impact; zero shatter or micro-cracks.

3. Melt Mass-Flow Rate (MFR) Testing

Extruded samples verified against incoming raw material granules to ensure no thermal degradation occurred.

4. Longitudinal Reversion & Ring Stiffness

110°C thermal oven exposure testing verifies longitudinal deformation <2%; burial stiffness fully compliant.
